Anderson Valley

Anderson Valley is a cool‑climate wine region in western Mendocino County, located roughly 10–15 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Its proximity to the coast brings regular fog influence, which helps maintain acidity and supports the production of high‑quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The region is also known for varieties traditionally associated with Alsace in northeastern France, along the Rhine River. Alsace is recognized for producing aromatic white wines that are typically floral, expressive, and texturally rich — characteristics that often appear in Anderson Valley’s Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris.
