Alta Orsa Slusser Vineyard Pinot Noir
Alta Orsa Slusser Vineyard Pinot Noir
"This is a spice-driven and aromatic Pinot, with lifted scents of roasted cherry, rose petal and cola spice on the nose. The palate delivers supple tannins, lively acidity and flavors of baked cherry pie, forest floor and black tea that ease into a long finish."—Tom R. Capo, WE
This delicious wine's aroma unfolds with inviting notes of baking spice, red plum, and ripe cranberries.
On the palate, layers of fresh fig and blackcurrant are complemented by delicate earthy undertones and well integrated oak. The finish is long and satisfying, with nuances of Earl Grey tea, gentle minerality, and an elegant earthiness.

Alta Orsa
Alta Orsa is a mountain vineyard rooted in the hills above Hopland. For more than three decades, the estate has been farmed with a light hand — no‑till soils, cover crops, and organic practices that treat the land as a living system. Led by winemaker Martin Bernal‑Hafner, the team works with their high‑density estate vines and a few trusted Mendocino and Sonoma growers who share the same farming values. In the cellar, the approach stays minimal so the vineyard and the season can speak clearly, letting the hillside leave its own imprint.
