Kelsey Bench is one of Lake County’s most quietly compelling AVAs,an uplifted series of volcanic terraces just south of Big Valley and west of Clear Lake. It’s a place where benchland elevation, volcanic–alluvial soils, and dramatic diurnal swings shape wines with freshness, texture, and clarity. This diversity allows both aromatic whites and structured reds to thrive.
