High Valley

Lake County

High Valley AVA is one of Lake County’s most distinctive regions—defined by altitude, volcanic soils, and its rare east‑west–oriented valley. It sits just east of Clear Lake and is known for dramatic diurnal swings, concentrated reds, and beautifully lifted whites. It is one of the coolest AVAs in Lake County despite its elevation.
