This opens with ripe pear, golden apple, and lemon curd, followed by warm notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and a touch of baking spice. The Reserve selection brings extra depth and creaminess, giving the wine a rounder mid‑palate and a longer, more polished finish than the classic Chardonnay.

On the palate, it’s medium‑bodied and silky, with balanced acidity that keeps the wine fresh while allowing the oak and texture to shine. This is a Mendocino Chardonnay with quiet luxury, organic fruit, careful barrel work, and a smoothness that feels both comforting and refined.

Barra

A family‑run, estate‑grown winery in Redwood Valley, farming more than 350 acres of CCOF‑certified organic vineyards. Founded in 1955 by Charlie Barra and now led by Martha Barra and their children, the winery produces expressive Mendocino wines that highlight organic farming, healthy soils, and regional character. Their portfolio spans classic Mendocino varieties, from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Sangiovese and crafted entirely from their own organically farmed estate vineyards.
