The grapes for the 2020 vintage were chose from Whaler and Largo Ridge Vineyards. The vineyards are both located in the hillside off the eastern bank of the Russian River between Hopland and Ukiah in the area known as Largo. The wine has a beautiful black cherry character with distinct aromas and flavors of cassis, cocoa, elegant cigar box & beautiful dark fruits. This full-bodied and balanced wine has a richly woven texture and a lingering finish that displays evolving dark berry, vanilla and baking spices flavors. Pair with your favorite grilled steak, pan seared duck breast or a delicious Portobello burger.
