The grapes were picked at the peak of ripeness with a deep crimson color and aromas of dark chocolate layered over plum, cranberry and cassis. Flavors of blackberry and spice with a hint of tobacco integrate with the toasted oak culminating in a rich smooth finish.

At elevations peaking at 2,300 feet, our sustainably farmed vineyards produce distinctive mountain fruit. Volcanic soils, intense sun exposure, and temperature variations result in complex, balanced, full-bodied wines.

Our High Elevation Collection is a careful blend of three appellations within Lake County. The clusters from High Valley bring structure and backbone, the Red Hills Appellation contributes lush fruit and ripe characteristics, and Big Valley grapes add tannin and fleshy tones to these lively wines.
