Brightlighter, a Boontling term which means "people from the city," is our white blend made in a slightly off-dry style, the perfect accompaniment for an afternoon picnic. A mixture of Pinot Gris (50%) from Helluva Vineyard in Anderson Valley, and Viognier (36%), and Pinot Blanc (14%) from Rivino Vineyard in Ukiah. Aromatic and fruity on the nose, showing notes of peaches, pears, banana, honey, and fresh cream.

Mouth filling flavors of peaches, cantaloupe, and pears, finishing with hints of lemon zest and thyme. We started fermentation in stainless steel tanks and then racked to 500 L neutral oak puncheons for four months to finish. Stirring on the lees adds a soft mouthfeel and creamy notes. Bottled quickly and sterile filtered, avoiding malolactic fermentation and preserving its fresh fruit flavors. No animal-derived compounds were used in this wine production.
