This magnificent wine has medium dark garnet hues with enticing aromatic aromas and flavors of dark cherry, violets, rose petal, tar and vanilla that are supported by just the right balance of acidity and smooth tannins. Much like Pinot Noir, this wine has been described as a thinking person’s wine because its character is very seductive and elusive all at the same time. Enotria- literally the land of wine—is the label that reaches closest to the family’s roots. It’s dedicated to the same Northern Italian varieties that Gregory Graziano’s grandfather once grew in Piemonte, vines still tended by cousins there today. In Mendocino, the team keeps the winemaking intentionally simple, letting Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, and other heritage grapes show their natural brightness and lift.
