DIRT Pinot Noir
DIRT Pinot Noir
"It is such an honor and a treat to taste one of the first vineyards on the Mendocino Ridge. This special project is called DIRT- Directly Impacting Regenerative Transformation. Fresh, vivacious, with aromas of strawberry, pomegranate-raspberry, Bing cherry, nutmeg, and vanilla cream on the nose; the palate is vibrant, mouth-watering, with youthful raspberry, cassis, huckleberry, savory herbs, sedimentary rock, and a lingering finish. The focus is on how meaningful and impactful regenerative farming is compared with conventional agriculture."—Tonya Pitts, WE
Classically styled and deeply flavorful with notes of plum, orange rind, red currant, black tea, and rose petals. Vibrant natural acidity lifts the wine for an airy, ethereal experience. Enjoy at whim.
This high-elevation, mountain grown Pinot Noir is fermented on indigenous yeasts and with 30% whole clusters, utilizing gentle extraction and cool fermentation temperatures. Aged for eighteen months in older French Oak barrels

DIRT: Directly Impacting Regenerative Transformation
We’re Nicole and Michael, and we believe wine can do more than delight the senses—it can heal the planet.
Regenerative agriculture captivated us with its power to rebuild soil, restore ecosystems, and nurture biodiversity—all while tackling climate change. But we couldn’t ignore the big questions: Why isn’t everyone farming this way? Why do so many wines have hidden additives and chemical residues?
Determined to make a change, we began by transitioning Nicole’s family vineyard to regenerative practices. In 2021, we proudly launched the first wines in the world with the Savory Institute’s Global Land to Market Verified regenerative seal—a testament to what’s possible when farming and winemaking prioritize nature.
At DIRT, we’re not just making wine; we’re disrupting outdated industry norms. We believe in radically transparent, nature-positive wines that empower farmers, restore the land, and inspire conscious consumers. Every bottle is a vote for a better way—one that uplifts people, communities, and ecosystems.
Join us on the DIRT path and help create a regenerative future, one glass at a time.
